Mt Roberts - Another Hiking Season Begins

Mt Roberts remains one of our favorite warmup hikes of each year.  Rather than repeating what I may have said in prior posts about this hike, I've provided links to those posts and as well I've included just a couple of new pictures from this season.

This is a sure sign of the sort of winter we had.  The slopes of Gunstock in the distance are still snow covered.  If you look closely you can also see the reflection of the slopes on the ice on the lake.  Yes, I said ice.  Though it is not clear in this photo, the area with the reflection is ice covered.

Mt Roberts also had a little snow left near the summit.

And of course, Mount Washington in the background of this photo still has snow.
